So what am I all about?
I’m not here to lecture you or be "loud and proud"; I’m here to invite you into the dance of discovery.

Hey, I’m Xynarah, an artist in New Zealand who chases the spark where curiosity and wonder collide. My creativity is where I tango with life’s mysteries—how the stars whisper to our souls, why science feels like magick, and what it means to grow into our truest selves. But sometimes I just want to create something just for the enjoyment of it.
It all started with a kid who couldn’t stop doodling during math class. Fast forward, and I’m still that kid—just with better equipment and a messy studio - Which is my garage. "Studio" sounds better though, right?
My varied types of artistic expression blend the mystical with the tangible, inspired by late-night stargazing, quantum quirks, and the messy beauty of becoming.
Whether I’m splashing paint about, creating characters in doll form or upcycling my daydreams, I’m chasing moments that make you pause, grin, and feel a little more alive.
My work’s been shown in Otago, when i lived in Dunedin, but honestly, the real magic happens when someone sees a piece and feels their own spark ignite. I believe art is a portal—to joy, to wonder, to your own vibrant soul.
So, wander through my website, drop me a note, or follow along on my Socials for a peek into my latest creations and musings. Let’s create, laugh, and find our own unique slice of wonder together!
My Vision - Mission - creed

This painting is entitled: Journey
what kind of art?
“The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web.” – Pablo Picasso
I'm a true Creatrix. I enjoy art in all forms. I have tried to niche down or focus on one area of art and produce a cohesive portfolio but..... I don't want to limit my creative expression. I'm all over the place with my hands in all types of proverbial pots. Here's a list of creative pursuits I'm usually enjoying:
I have found a certain amount of healing through artistic expression. Most of my earlier canvas paintings were born of difficult to process emotions. They all tell the story of my sacred Journey in this mortal coil.
